Roshni Tariqiyati Tanzeem is an active, registered, non-profit and non-governmental civil society organization of district Ghotki. It is committed to promote principles of socio-economic justice in the country in order to achieve goal of participatory human development by undertaking integrated initiatives for  strengthening and supporting disadvantaged social groups plus civil society organizations, with the aim to increase their access to resources, institutions and knowledge. For this purpose, Roshni has adopted integrated and participatory human development approach to capacity building, collation building, human rights education, advocacy and development initiatives in the social sector.
A group of educated men and women of the village Millan Mahar established Roshni Tariqiyati Tanzeem in the starting of 1995 as a community based development organization seeing the worst socio-economic and human rights conditions in rural communities, specially women. The organization was registered on October18, 1997. Since its foundation, Roshni has played  an active role in formation as well as strengthening different networks and forums, initiating advocacy on development and human rights issues and community development initiatives in education, health, human rights education, CSOs capacity building, emergency & human security & agriculture and women development sectors.

Roshni Tariqiyati Tanzeem, has changed its organizational objectives, strategy and  structure as well, after reviewing its policy in 2008. Now, it is working as a mid-level development organization in order to initiate and carry out integrated struggle for right to human development with clear vision, mission, objectives and strategy on strong institutional and professional grounds. Its philosophy to human development is to bring such changes in the society in which everyone can enjoy all rights, justice and opportunities as equal citizens under UNO framework of economic, social and political rights.
